Here is a set of works I made to build my illustrative abilities. I started by copying several works by famous Renaissance masters, but, after copying several seascapes by Bruegel the Elder, I shifted my focus to copying the works of several artists from the American Golden Age of Illustration. The Renaissance masters taught me how to do good line-work, perspective, and anatomy. The American illustrators showed me how to work with color and shading and to arrange a piece for dramatic effect.

The aim of this portfolio is to show off my talent and relevant works.
